Prayer for sick.

I woke up early this morning praying about many things. One of the things I prayed about this morning was what to post on my blog. When I was reading my Bible the first thing I read was a passage from James 5:13-19. This scripture speaks about sick people in the congregation. It says that if there are sick among you that the elders should come and anoint them with oil in the name of our Father and the prayer of faith will save the sick and if they have committed any sins they will be forgiven. In verse 16 it says to confess your faults one to another so that you may be healed. How wonderful is confession not only to our bodies but also to our souls. Confession is a blessing to all and if we didn't have the blood of our Saviour where would we be? How wonderful it is to be called a child of the most high. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we might receive mercy in our time of need and don't forget to thank our Heavenly Father for his loving kindness when we fall down and mess up. He is so gracious to forgive, but doesn't always let us get off without some correction.
