I wanted to take some time and list some of my favorite scriptures on Salvation in the Bible. The famous scripture that everyone wants to use is the notorious John 3:16, but we must always remember not to just use one scripture in the bible to get the mind of our Savior, but search the whole Bible. This way we get the full picture of all the puzzle pieces. The first one I want to mention is in Joel 2:28. This scripture tells us that God has a plan to pour out his spirit upon mankind in the end times and that he would bless people with gifts to use to win souls, and warn people in those days. This scripture that was prophesied came to pass in the book of Acts on the day of Pentecost. This is when God began to pour out his spirit upon his people after his death. The next one is in the book of Acts 1 the first chapter when Yahuwah tells his people to go and wait for this promise to be poured out. Acts 2:38 gives the precise plan of Salvation when it says to repent and be baptized in the name of Yahushua for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 8 tells us about the Samarians and how they believed the preaching and were baptized in Yahushua's name. When the apostles realized that they had been baptized but had not received the Holy Spirit, they went to lay hands on them so that they could receive this gift that was waiting for them. If they didn't need it as well, they would have just left them without it. Acts 10 is the story of Cornelius and how Yahuah saved his family. God poured out his spirit upon them without the laying hands on of men. In Acts 19 the believers were baptized under John the Baptist but not under the name of the Messiah. The apostles went in and baptized them in Yahuah name and prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.
