1st Book of Adam and Eve

Lately, I have been diving into books that were left out of our Bible but were mentioned in the Holy text.  This book was not directly mentioned, but it does mention scriptures from the Canon.  What I loved the most was how it showed so much compassion from God toward Adam and Eve over and over again.  It mentions how he rescued them from the snares of the enemy.  It mentions how he sent them gifts to comfort them and how he continued to console them and talk with them throughout their punishment.  He even told them that he already knew what they would do and that he already had a plan to make it right.  He would take the sin upon himself for mankind and die himself to allow people to gain access to him again.   Another thing that stood out to me was the fact that God would say to them about making mistakes that if they would have only prayed about things before they did them then things wouldn't have gotten so bad.  How true that is!  If only we would pray more for sure.  Even the Bible says so with the scripture to Pray that you enter not into temptation.  I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.  Listening to these truly brought me closer to God.  I think these would be an excellent read for people who have a hard time connecting with God because of relationship issues in the past like abuse or rejection.  It is truly hard I know for people to get close to God because of scars that they have from their past.  Abandonment issues make it hard for people to have a closeness with God as well as insecurities or self-confidence issues.  So many things play a part in not being able to reach out to God when we need to. I remember a time in my life where I ran away from God because someone had hurt me in church.  I didn't intend to stop going to church altogether but to find another Church.  Every time I would think about going back the enemy would begin to tell me things like that religion can't be right because of this and that.  The enemy would use anything to keep me away.  All of that doesn't matter anymore because I have put it in the past but I mention it because someone else might be in this place as well.  When I finally decided to go back to the church I stood at the door and wouldn't go in until I prayed and heard the Lord tell me that it was okay for me to go in.  I felt so unworthy and needed his approval before I could enter.  Some of you might be far away from God and feel just like I did.  Just start with a small prayer.  Take baby steps if you must but just start somewhere.  Be totally honest with God and tell him you are sorry for mistakes you have made.  Repentance changes the heart of God and it will change your circumstances.  If you have messed up you are not alone.  Think of David and Bathsheba and the woman at the well and Adam and Eve.  Some like to throw condemnation and stones but I just want to share my story and a few stories in the Bible with you.  A word for someone that I am going to put out there is that if you don't get sin out of your life you are going to lose some things.  I am going to post that and just believe that the Holy Spirit will do the rest and bring conviction on the right person.  If you feel this is for you just ask for direction and God will make things right and repent.  Remember God is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance.  Check out my salvation post here.  My holy ghost post here.  Why you need to read the word here. Finally, the 1st Book of Adam and Eve come in four-parts.  Part one of the 1st Book of Adam and Eve.  Part two of the 1st Book of Adam and Eve.  Part three of the 1st Book of Adam and Eve.  The last part of the 1st Book of Adam and Eve.  God Bless.
