Testament of Levi

If you liked the story of Simeon, the brother of Joseph.  The Testament of Levi gives even more information about the brothers and about Dinah and her story. If you have not yet seen the blog post about Simeon then you can check it out here.  The story of Dinah is here.  This is a series that was taken from the Bible Story.  Some of the scenes may or may not be accurate because sometimes we only get pieces of the whole story in the Bible.   It is not always possible to give every detail because then there would be no room to contain all the stories the Bible contains.  Maybe that is why they took so many helpful parts out.  The Youtube Series does give a certain curiosity as to what really did happen to Dinah.  Some say she was raped and others say she was overcome in the heat of the moment for the man she loved.  Regardless of the situation the price for sin surely took its toll on this young woman.  In the Bible days, your virginity was a sacred thing and was not to be taken lightly.  Maybe not so much so in Shechem's custom and maybe that's why he didn't take caution when handling Dinah.  The mercy of Yah was shown to Levi even after his acts of unrighteousness.  Supposedly he was told by the highest to avenge his sister's rape.  That is what makes me think that this was truly a rape and not an act of fornication.   Levi became the priest of God and was shown how to become a man of righteousness.   Here is the story of Levi and here is the biblical account of Dinah.   Please check out the posts on salvation.   Check out the post on the holy ghost as well.  Be Blessed.
